Snow Day

Something of a storm hit last night and this morning-everything's closed, my husband is working from home today, my frosty, snow-soaked kidlet is in a nice warm bath, and I'm sitting by the window, soaking up the snowy, blowy, glittering white ambiance. It just keeps coming down! If the house wasn't already full of post-Christmas baked goods, today would be an excellent day to bake with Ro. And maybe drink some cocoa and have some tomato soup. Instead, It's going to be more of a curled up on the bed, reading Eat, Pray, Love again, flipping through some magazines, reading Ro's new books to her and maybe letting her do some V.Reading on her own kind of day.

In the spirit of snow days, I give you a few shots of the central New York countryside from our drive to Binghamton and Oneonta last Saturday. It was a gorgeous day to be driving about.
